The famous purple clay is only found in Yixing city. The clay is not only make famous Yixing teapot, but also make very good quality bonsai pot. As same as Yixing teapots, purple sand pots are not glazed, this process allows some of the brewed water to permeate the clay, It is very good for plant's grow.
